What is the Salesforce Health Check?
You bought Sales Cloud two years ago and it shows. The Health Check is a structured review of your Salesforce org (security, data, automation, reporting, adoption and integrations) that tells you what is broken, what is risky and what to fix first. It is led by Jean-Sé Dorais, 21 Knots’ founder. When you want us to fix the top issues too, it becomes a Rescue.
Who needs one?
It’s usually time for one when:
- You’re paying for Salesforce but tracking clients in spreadsheets.
- Nobody trusts the reports, and the Salesforce numbers aren’t reliable.
- Your Salesforce admin left, but their customizations stayed.
- Everything takes too many clicks.
- The same error messages keep coming back.
- New hires can’t learn it.
- You’re paying for features nobody uses.
What's included?
- An overall health summary.
- A security and access review.
- A data quality snapshot.
- An automation and Flow review.
- A technical debt register.
- A reporting and dashboard review.
- A user adoption and license usage review.
- An integration, API and connected app review.
- Top findings ranked by severity and effort.
- A quick-wins list.
- A 30-day or 90-day improvement roadmap.
- A readout and strategy session.
How long does it take?
It depends on how deep you want to go:
- Quick Check: 3–5 business days.
- Deep Dive: 1–2 weeks.
- Rescue (Health Check plus fixing the top issues): 2–3 weeks.
What does it cost?
From $2,500, priced up front. No surprise change orders, no per-hour billing.
What happens after?
The roadmap is yours to use however you like. When teams ask us to keep going, the next step is usually:
- Fixing the critical issues the Health Check found.
- A short remediation sprint on the top 3–5 items.
- Reporting and dashboard cleanup.
- Flow and automation cleanup.
- A data hygiene project.
- Salesforce–Asana handoff or integration work.
- Monthly Salesforce or fractional RevOps support.
Frequently asked questions
Do you need admin access to our Salesforce org?
The best setup is a temporary, named 21 Knots user with System Administrator access and MFA enabled, removed when the engagement ends. If you prefer tighter control, we can work in a sandbox or with a temporary admin-equivalent audit user, though that can slow the work.
Will you change anything in our org during the Health Check?
The Health Check is a review; fixes happen only if you add a Rescue or a remediation sprint. We also ask for your approval before installing or connecting any third-party scanning tool.
Our Salesforce admin left and nobody knows how it was built. Can you still help?
Yes. The automation and Flow review, integration review and technical debt register document what was built, what still matters and what can go.
Should we choose a Quick Check or a Deep Dive?
That’s what the free 30-minute scoping call is for. We look at what you have and recommend the depth that fits, and we’ll tell you if you don’t need a Health Check at all.
Is this only for marketing teams?
No. The Health Check is for any team that runs on Salesforce: sales, marketing and creative teams alike.
Do you work on Salesforce and Asana together?
Yes. 21 Knots is a partner for both, and Salesforce–Asana handoff and integration work is a common next step after a Health Check.

We'll look at what you have, tell you whether the Salesforce Health Check is the right next step, and give you honest advice either way.
