What is the Claudeforce Readiness Check?
Salesforce in Claude answers from your org exactly as it is: the same records, fields and permissions your team has today. If ownership is out of date, stages mean different things to different reps, or access is looser than you think, Claude will repeat those problems with confidence. The Readiness Check is our Salesforce Health Check, focused on what Claude will read, plus a plan for setting it up. It is led by Jean-Sé Dorais, 21 Knots’ founder.
Who needs one?
It’s a good fit when:
- You’ve heard about Claudeforce and want to know if your org is ready before you request the beta.
- Nobody fully trusts the pipeline reports, and you don’t want Claude repeating them.
- You’re not sure who can see what in Salesforce today.
- Your Salesforce admin left, and the customizations stayed.
- You want someone who knows the setup to handle the MCP server, External Client App and rollout.
What's included?
- An eligibility check: Claude plan, Salesforce edition and what the beta request needs.
- A security and access review: who would be able to see what through Claude.
- A data privacy review: Zero Data Retention (ZDR) and Enterprise Frontier Safeguards terms to confirm with Anthropic, sensitive fields, who can see them, and your Security Center Essentials baseline.
- A permission set design for the people who should get access.
- A data quality snapshot of accounts, contacts, opportunities, leads and activities.
- A reporting and pipeline review: do stages, close dates and ownership mean what Claude will assume?
- An automation and Flow review.
- Top findings ranked by severity and effort, plus a quick-wins list.
- A setup and rollout plan: MCP server, External Client App, tool restrictions, who gets it first and how you’ll monitor what’s done through Claude.
- A readout and strategy session.
How long does it take?
It depends on how deep you want to go:
- Quick Check: 3–5 business days.
- Deep Dive: 1–2 weeks.
What does it cost?
From $2,500, priced up front. No surprise change orders, no per-hour billing.
What happens after?
The plan is yours to use however you like. When teams ask us to keep going, the next step is usually:
- Fixing the permission and data issues the check found.
- Setting up Salesforce in Claude with your admins: MCP server, External Client App, connector, tool restrictions and rollout.
- Tailoring the prebuilt sales skills with your sales process, stages and qualification framework.
- Training your team and monthly Salesforce support.
Frequently asked questions
Do we need Claude Enterprise before booking?
No. The check reviews your Salesforce org, which doesn’t require Claude. You will need Claude Enterprise to actually use Salesforce in Claude, and the check confirms what else you’ll need.
How is this different from your Salesforce Health Check?
It’s the same review, focused on what Salesforce in Claude will read and act on: permissions, core sales data and pipeline definitions. It adds an eligibility check and a setup and rollout plan.
Will you change anything in our org during the check?
No. It’s a review. Fixes and setup happen only if you ask us to do them afterwards.
Do you need admin access to our Salesforce org?
The best setup is a temporary, named 21 Knots user with System Administrator access and MFA enabled, removed when the engagement ends. If you prefer tighter control, we can work in a sandbox or with a temporary admin-equivalent audit user, though that can slow the work.
Can you set up Salesforce in Claude for us?
Yes. Setup takes a Salesforce admin and a Claude admin working through the MCP server, an External Client App, the connector, tool restrictions and rollout. We can do it with your team. Our free setup guide walks through every step if you’d rather do it yourself.
